CES Wings Express program underway 2016-09-10 - Campbellsville Elementary School, 315 Roberts Road (campus), Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Calen McKinney, Public Information Officer, Campbellsville Independent Schools (CIS). Campbellsville Elementary School has begun its afterschool Wings Express program. Students spent the first day of Wings Express, which was Tuesday, September 6, 2016working on their homework, having a snack, playing games and having fun on the playground. Wings Express is a program to help students with homework and other activities. Students receive help with reading, math, science, technology, social skills and more. They also participate in activities to learn about nutrition. Wings Express students stay at school from 3 to 5 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 1pm to 3pmET on Fridays for activities. There are no Wings Express activities on Wednesdays. Students are given a snack and then divided into groups to participate in programs that best fit their needs. About 90 students will participate in the Wings Express program.
