Tom Waggener used the ramp at our house to begin a bike ride in Columbia. We worry every time he's on the road on a bike, especially since tragic events which have occurred in Adair County last year, and, frankly, we wonder if there has been enough done to make sure Share the Road biking is safe since those incidents. Biking is a healthy, colorful sport and activity, and has a significant impact on the Adair County economy. Now, with Lindsey Wilson College in session, and campus safety a huge issue across the land, it's important to remember their presence on the roadways of Adair County. Tom returned after an hour, and reported no scary incidents. And then we only had to worry about his safe return to Teresa and Tillie, along KY 55, KY 555, KY 44, and KY 53, to Shelbyville, KY. He made that safe passage, too. - Ed Waggener
