Dr. Phil Aaron gave encouragement to all fields of medicine. The BS RN program at Lindsey Wilson College is one he embraced, in large part because his mother, Jessie Aaron, was a registered nurse. Dr. Phil passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 at 7:36pmET, at the Kindred Hospital in Louisville, KY after several month's illness. Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 11amCT, at the Columbia Baptist Church, 201 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Public visiting and receiving friends by the family will be from 2pmCT until 9pmCT, Friday, at Columbia Baptist Church, 201 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. At the request of Dr. Phil Aaron his remains were cremated and scattered according to his wishes. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
