Plate-size center slices from an Heirloom Tomato Bruce Wilson had just picked from his organic garden and he and Patsy delivered straight away in a care package to our house made the perfect complement to the focaccia bread Linda had just made. Seasoned with just a a bit of salt and mandatory olive oil, canape sized chunks of the tomato married with a saltine size portion of bread was better than any pizza - yes even better than any tomato pie we'd ever eaten. Simple. Easy. Quick. An entire supper, with the perfect beverage, a really tall glass of C/AC Utilities District tap water chilled with a tray of ice, and shaken 100 times. It was supper.
