Linda picked up some Yellow squash, green onions, and cucumbers this morning at the Farmers Market. The squash was cut lengthwise, cooked on high heat on an iron skillet till deep brown on each side with just a few slices of the white of green onions to sweeten, and the whole thing was garnished with a salad of green onions on more raw onion. More olive oil was added, and the only other seasoning was real butter and sea salt. Can't wait until fresh red ripe Adair County tomatoes come in to dice to go along with the green onion and circles of white onion - for taste and a better picture. - EW
