Moving Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Edmonton

Moving Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall is now in place at Bowling Park, 1608 W Stockton Street, Edmonton, KY. The Wall is 252 feet long, half the size of the original in Washington DC, with all 58,292 names on it for people to read and touch. The Wall was lighted at that opening ceremony last night, Thursday, May 12, 2016, and it will remain open, free to all 24/7 through March 16 except for Sunday afternoon which is a protected time just for Veterans and their families. Louise Firkins, Bowling Park events coordinator, along with director Lisa Boswell, are coordinating the event. ColumbiaMagazine.com welcomes comments, photo. - LW DETAILS
