CES students attend Q and U wedding. Love was in the air at Campbellsville Elementary School on Thursday, April 28, 2016, as students in Chanci Patterson’s kindergarten class witnessed the marriage of Mr. Q and Mrs. U. Students gathered to witness the union of Mr. Q and Mrs. U in holy “wordamony,” since Q and U never form words without each other. CES Principal Ricky Hunt performed the ceremony. Before Mr. Q and Mrs. U said their vows, Hunt said making words is a very serious matter and the two shouldn’t enter into their union without realizing their commitment to one another. Mr. Q and Mrs. U vowed to never make a word without each other. Brendan Martin was Mr. Q and Asia Singleton was Mrs. U. Destini Gholston was maid of honor, and Caleb Ortiz was best man. Londyn Smith was flower girl, and Landon Dykes was the ring bearer. After the ceremony, students, who all portrayed letter people, were treated to wedding cake and punch at a reception.
