Hills of Hardscratch: Summer like spring already

Locusts and Pawlonia hadn't reached their peak on Saturday, April 23, 2016, but there's great promise. What has happened is summer green over the Hills of Hardscratch. And things can't get any more calming or beautiful . . . a reminder of a sometimes remembered quote, "When God picked green for grass and trees, he couldn't have picked a prettier color." It's from long ago. Haven't heard it in 50 years, in days when God was always ascribed a gender. - EW
