Mom spotted this along a delightful country lane in Adair County, KY, so secluded it seems a private passage. Certainly the residents of the lane is deserve the privacy of the little valley they've helped to preserve. Hopefully, one day they'll be spared the assaults of the poisoning and tree whacking assault of official uglification underway as a matter of government policy today. This is a bed of White Trillium, see Trillium grandiflorum - Wikipedia. The flowers fade to pink, according to the article cited. This photo was taken 8 Apr 2016. - LW/EW
