House in the Middle of the Road - not really

This section of Wheeler Hill Road is now marked private drive, but for any who miss the that distinction, they may be surprised that there's a garage in the middle of the road, which, truth be told, may prevent a ton of accidents in the future.. Now people will know that the road ends. Before the garage was built, there was only a guardrail, which kinda snuck up on folks who weren't paying attention. At one time, in the not so distant past, this roadway was Burkesville Road, at the time the most modern route to the capitol of Cumberland County. The tower in the background is Columbia-Adair Utilities Districts Sparksville water tank. - EW
