After getting chilly just from looking at the cold rain while exploring Bridgeport Road and Boat Ramp Road we made a great discovery: The soup makers of Adair County are really doing great this new season. Melissa Moore served this really hot chicken noodle soup - so good one of us order a refill. Only after we finished eating did she tell us that only one thing would have made it better - some lemon juice. Will try that later. We're still waiting for a restaurant in South Central Kentucky to serve ramen. But in the meantime, made one great discovery at Tray's Garden. Peter Cheng has a chicken pork meatball on the buffet which is served in a chicken based broth over rice noodles with mushrooms, peppers and onions and celery which is one of the best we've tried. Don't know if it will be a staple, but it's fine. We hope he keeps the elements - you combine it your way. It was perfect for a day like today. (Know of something better - something you cook at home?
