Fully aware that stealing signs is a terrible thing and must be wiped out in our lifetime I couldn't help but covet one of these signs posted along side Mammy's Kitchen in Bardstown for post at 122 E Fortune Street, Columbia, KY, with "Marketplace Clients" marked out and "ColumbiaMagazine.com Friends" inserted instead. The signs were so pervasive in Bardstown I couldn't help but hope that a Travel clip on YouTube.com might show a "This is not Mammy's Parking" sign at the Vatican or Tiammen Square. For some reason, maybe the Bourbon industry, maybe by happenstance of history, Downtown Bardstown was an enviable small town success story, one Burkesville, Campbellsville, Columbia, Edmonton Greensburg, Liberty, Jamestown/Russell Springs can all hope to emulate. It's a good example, though from my long 1 hour 45 minute thorough examination of the place, I didn't see nigh as many Canadian tour busses there as I've seen in Columbia.
