It's been an upside down growing season, she said, as early tomatoes got too much rain, and she wasn't at the market so much as usual. This morning, she has a not-unlimited supply of all kinds of tomatoes - big and little, red, yellow and green. For fried green tomato lovers, there's an ample supply, unusual for this time of year. (Don't worry about me, I got mine just after 6amCT). She's also plenty of traditional fall items: Pumpkins and Decorative corn, and white and red potatoes in all sizes, and white and red sweet potatoes in various sizes, , green onions, and mixed greens. By the way, we had a yellow tomato for breakfast and it was delicious, better texture, better flavor than we've every had in a yellow tomato. - EW Permalink | Comments?
