Central District Coburg, KY, aerial photo by Jason Mardis

2015-10-07 - Coburg, Adair County, KY - Photo by Jason Mardis, Aerial Concepts (c) 270-250-1867 drone photo .
Downtown Coburg, KY, may never be this small again, if just a part of Adair County Judge Executive Michael L. Stephens' vision for the community. He's seeing it as a focal point for inter-county cooperation for Taylor-Adair-Green Counties, the location of convention center and new access point to Green River. The photo above, by drone pilot/photographer Jason Mardis, is of property already hot with the announcement of the award of construction contract for the first phase of the Heartland Parkway, from the Adair County Veterans Memorial Parkway north to the Taylor-Adair line at Coburg. Businesses already located in the hub, in this photo, are, from left, Diesel-X, A & M Trading Post Market/Chop House Restaurant, and Anthony Reese's car sales. The big road is KY 55/Campbellsville Road. Behind the stores is Coburg Loop.
