2015-10-02 - NE Corner, Fairground & Campbellsville Streets, Columbia, KY - Photo by Robin Wilkerson.
Grill It, is a new food truck operated by Doug & Pam Vanarsdale, which is now open 10:30amCT-???, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays, at the big lot at the corner of Fairground & Campbellsville Streets, Columbia, KY. The trucks carries Better Burgers just the same as Columbians used to enjoy at Bob's Pool Room - same moist buns, same burger mix, and the same fix-it-yourself slaw, pickle and onion add-ons the way the Wethingtons used to do it. In addition to the Vanarsdales, Kelly Shepard and Tresia Shephard complete a staff of four needed to keep the constant lines moving. The truck will alternate locations every three days between the parking lot at Adair Pawn and the intersection. The truck will be be at Downtown Days on October 30 & 31, 2015.
