Scarecrow Art from Adair County for Homeplace Contest

The drawings above are entered by Adair County Second Graders in the Homeplace on Green River Scarecrow art contest. The contest is just one of many activities planned by Mary Knight and Vonnie Kolbenschlag to accomplish the mission of Homeplace on Green River as the officially designated "Kentucky's Outdoor Classroom." The winners will receive gift certificates given by Dr. Jacob Burton to Columbia's Yogurtown. Homeplace Annual Fall Heritage Festival is Saturday, September 12, 2015, from 8amCT/9amET until 3pmCT/4pmET, at Homeplace on Green River, 5807 New Columbia Road, (Highway 55) between Columbia and Campbellsville, KY.
