Walking Adair/Columbia, KY - A bit of history



2015-09-09 - Masonic Lodge, 501 Burkesville Street, E Frazier side, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Capsule history trivia bits are abundant for pedestrians - This cornerstone for the Masonic Lodge gives gives the date of the establishment of Lodge 96, 1892, and the year the lodge was constructed, 1965, 73 years later; making the lodge dating the lodge at 123 years old today, in 2015. Prior to the construction of this building, lodge meetings were held in a fabulous location at the top of the Jeffries Building on Columbia's Public Square. - EW
