Thanks for the morning: Gables, towers & mist over the creek

Out scouting personal, already built walking trails, I couldn't help but notice the fog rising over Russell Creek, seen from a paved drive in Columbia Cemetery. Many other people already use the cemetery as a park. It's a favorite walk. It's close to the Square. I haven't measured the distance, got too distracted by sights and compelling photos which needed to be recorded. The walk has been a long time favorite of mine - if just to go up and meet people in the next neighborhood. It's not surprising how many use the paths. Maybe someday the loops and drives and cross lanes will be marked, as city streets, to make locating a relative's grave easier, and make navigating the cemetery that much better. - Ed Waggener
