Hanging the greens at Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe

2014-12-05 - 500 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ellen Zornes.
Lee Ann Jessee of the Adair Heritage Association was busy hanging the greens on the handrails at the Main Entrance (Jamestown Street as anyway who reads Mike Watson knows) in preparation for Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, which is this year features vendors with crafts, baked goods, books and other items for Christmas Shoppers. Ellen Zornes, President of the Adair Heritage Association, said that there will be Christmas in Columbia vendors in Mackie Jo's Building, 100 Public Square, and at the Masonic Building, 501 Burkesville Street. The day is setting up to be a record - and these events are weather proof. "Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe will be open regardless of the weather."
