MCHS ('66) friends meet for lunch in Greensburg, KY

2014-11-01 - 113 Public Square, Greensburg, KY - Photo by Innocent Bystander.
Metcalfe County High School classmates Dottie Thompson Nagel, Kathy Ball Nason, Ella Lee Oliver Wilson, Jackie Parson Coffey, Elaine Pruitt Wilson and Linda Marcum Waggener enjoyed lunch together at Longhunters Cafe on the square in Greensburg, KY today. They paused in front of the Kentucky Headhunters aka Ennis' Restaurant sign noting the home of the original slaw burger, fries and a bottle of Ski featured in the Metcalfe County singing group's famous hit, Dumas Walker. Conversation included election activities of Ella Lee's son Greg who is running for re-election as County Judge Executive in Metcalfe County, Jackie's husband Billy Dean who is running for reelection as Magistrate in Adair County, and Linda who is running for reelection to the Columbia City Council. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday evening, December 9.
