Yes, Margie Rooks is at the Farmer's Market

2013-06-07 - 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by CM staff. Margie Rooks is lamenting that the crops are coming in two weeks, but despite her modesty, she's got some great stuff this morning for opening day, in addition to the fabulous green onions in front of her. The Farmer's Market at the Extension Office opened for the first time in 2013, this morning, for a 6am-10am Friday session. The market will be open on Tuesdays with two sessions, one in the morning from 6am-10amCT, the second in the afternoon from 3pm-6pmCT. The market will operate on the three session schedule until the end of the season, expected to run through October.
