Kentucky Color: Stare Down

Billy Joe writes, "Mr or Ms Tree Frog and I found ourselves eye to eye in an ol' fashion stare down! I must admit that, I lost! Not only did I lose, I lost badly! Following an extended post stare down observation period, I was left with an overarching question, 'do tree frogs even blink!?'

This is either an Eastern Gray Tree Frog or a Cope's Gray Tree Frog. Both the Eastern and Cope's are identical in every physical way with the exception of their croaking accent.

Sorry I was unable to identify the species. Not only did Mr or Ms Tree Frog not blink, he or she never spoke!"
