Welcome to the Adair County Arts Council

The Adair County Arts Council meets monthly at the History and Genealogy Center beside the library. Everyone is invited to be part of the group and bring his or her unique gifts. This picture is from the March meeting where the focus was literary arts and the upcoming Writers' Day. Other meetings throughout the year focus on other areas like music, painting and drawing, crafts, textiles, sculpting, photography, and more. Most of us can relate to that feeling of frustration that comes from not knowing how we're ever supposed to fit into this world - I believe we find where we fit through the arts. - Linda Waggener
