Shout Out to Emryn Fultz!

2024-11-09 - Edmonton, KY - Photo from Kim Harwood, Edmonton Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce.
Kim writes, "Emryn Fultz is a 13-year-old seventh grader at Metcalfe County Middle School. Over the last 3 years he has taken money that he earned throughout the year to hand out candy, simply because he loves seeing other kids smile.

This year Emryn has been faced with a battle in his body that started after a field trip for gifted and talented kids. He was diagnosed with Chronic ITP. Due to the Chronic ITP Emryn makes many trips back and forth to the children's cancer center to see his hematologist. He is an amazing child; he is on the Student Council and in the TAG Program at school. Despite everything he is going through all he wanted to do was hand out candy and make other children smile on Halloween.

The Edmonton-Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize Emryn Fultz for the fine example he sets for others through his kindness and generosity."
