Makayla White wins essay contest from MCRTA
 2022-06-10 - Clinton County, KY - Photo from Mark Fudge. Makayla White, a fifth grade student from Adair Elementary School (ACES), has been selected the Adair County and Mid-Cumberland Retired Teachers Association winner in the "2021-2022 Grandparent of the Year" essay contest, for her essay about her great grandfather, Jack Garrett. She read her award winning essay to the crowd.
She is presented the awards - a plaque and a $50 prize - by interim Adair County Retired Teacher Association President Mark Fudge. They attended the Middle Cumberland Retired Teachers Association meeting in Albany, KY, on Thursday morning, June 9, 2022.
