Craig Biggs welcomed to new Athletic Director position

The Adair School District has a new full time Athletic Director - Craig Biggs - a native of Adair County who brings a wealth of experience and a "heart for home." In her introductory announcement, Superintendent Pamela Stephens said she and the group who interviewed candidates for the position and ultimately selected Craig are very excited to see this "former ACHS Indian" put his vast experience to work in the interest of students. His duties in the new job begin in Columbia on July 5, 2022.

Amy Chaney sends good wishes to Jim Flowers

Amy Chaney is pictured with Jim Flowers at his retirement reception holding the keepsake photo from 2002 that the first-customer, Vicky Pike, shared. They were all three there together at this special event just as they had been 20 years ago when the business began. Amy writes, "Jim is retiring and I’m still employed with Edward Jones in Danville. Many thanks to hm for giving me the opportunity! Enjoy retirement!"

We have an update from activities on Clifty Creek Farm. Miss Donna writes, "Here's a photo of a couple of my kids, according to them, the grass IS better on the other side of the fence! I haven't had to weedeat at all so far this year! I've got 13 baby goats, 10 girls and 3 boys, plus I bought a boyfriend for Pixie and Pebbles, and they're due the first week of August."
