COVID-19 Update - maps show two-month spread

The maps provided from the US Centers for Disease Control show that it only took two months for the COVID-19 virus to spread back across the state. Top left, the first of May 2022, the state was almost all green, virus free. Under that top left map, several counties showed it was cropping back up, but not into our area. Top right map shows it widening and by the last map, on the bottom right, on June 30, 2022, it's spreading quickly.

Watts and Stephens are Open Academic Tourney champs

Bailey Watts, a Sophomore at Adair County High School, and Trey Stephens, a Junior at Russell County High School, teamed up with two college teammates from the University of Florida to become this year's Open Academic Summer Tournament champions at the Summer Interstate Quiz Bowl Tournament at Tusculum University in east Tennessee.

Some may not have noticed its absence over the past years, so some may not have even noticed its presence again."

Event held in Campbellsville for tornado victims

Courtney Abell Wooldridge, at left, greeted Gov. Andy and First Lady Britainy Beshear at the Campbellsville Christmas in July event Friday. The First Lady said the outpouring of generosity allowed for the Christmas celebrations in December to also be celebrated in the Christmas in July celebrations for kids who have lost so much in the December tornadoes.
