2022-08-01 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Charles Marshburn.
Charles Marshburn writes: "Picture of dam in the making on Petty's Fork Creek. The old bridge is really causing water problems during the flash flooding. This is the old bridge that was going to be torn down but haven't heard anything new in some time. Now the old bridge collects all of the trees and branches that wash down the creek. "

Adair County resident Sandy Ford has family in Eastern Kentucky affected by the flood and was the inspiration leading to this online auction where bidders were given the option to donate items purchased and have them delivered to people in need. Items donated included diapers, wipes, and air mattresses, and more.
