Parnell Family Stadium gets a facelift 2022-08-17 - Columbia, KY - Photo courtesy Lindsey Wilson College. Parnell Family Stadium, which is home to Lindsey Wilson football and track & field, received a facelift for the fall 2022 season. Over the summer, new turf was installed on the football field and the track was resurfaced. Robert writes, "The ocean, sand and roaring beach does have a tendency to bring out the kid in all of us. I snuck away from my fellow travelers and created this little beach scene...and of course waited on the gulls to perform a fly over. What a contrast this area of California is to the Parks we just left...going from 105 degrees to mid 60's in the space of an hour. Cold Alaskan waters are one of the reasons for the year round, cooler temperatures for this part of the coastline.
