2022-08-25 - Metcalfe County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener and Vicky Pike, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Changes are visible this summer as work is being done to turn the Parkway into an Expressway. The median will be more narrow in order to make room for pull-off lanes on the left side.

What began as the Cumberland Parkway toll road was later named the Louie B. Nunn Parkway. It has been referred to as the LBN Cumberland Parkway. The new name going forward will be the Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Expressway.
