Travel: Halfway up the trail to Moro Rock

2022-09-02 - Sequoia National Park, CA - Photo By Robert Ellis, Robert Ellis Woodworking.
Robert writes, "Moro Rock, is nestled within Sequoia Park. It is a very popular hike; by merely catching one of the Parks shuttle busses you can be dropped off at the starting point of the climb. It's a relatively short 1/2 mile hike to the top and back...but with over 350 steps, and blend in a little mix of fear of heights (if you have that fear) this makes for a really fun hike. When you reach the summit, your at a elevation of 6,725 feet, with awesome views of the Sierra Nevada mountain range."
