Kentucky Color: A Real Beauty

2022-09-03 - Great Wooded South - Photo by Billy Joe Fudge.
By Billy Joe Fudge

The Great Wooded South continues to amaze me. The picture does not do this giant mushroom justice. I'm told this is a Dryad's Saddle. However, I've not been able to find one on line that looks anything like this one. If, and I do mean if, this is Dryad's Saddle, they are good to eat, especially when younger in their toadstool form.

Birds of Kentucky: Great Egret

2022-09-03 - Shelbyville, KY - Photo by Pen.
