Dining along Town Creek

Mama deer and her twins have dined along the little Town Creek regularly this season. The twins are growing up fast and no longer stick right by her side, giving her time to enjoy her food without interruption at this visit.

Suggesting ways people can help hungry kids

Youth Services representatives from Adair County's schools report having noticed more children needing food since the aid from the pandemic has ended. They provided tips on how everyone can help (details in the accompanying story). Missing the hub of their Sinclair family

"We're thinking of our parents on their 64th wedding anniversary and how much they are missed by all who ever knew them, and how much thier children and grandkids miss them! They were the hub of our family and nothing has been right since they left us! The grief will never leave us! We love you Mom and Dad. - Debbie, Kenny and Lea Ann, plus six grandkids and almost 9 great grandkids.
