Old Creelsboro
2022-09-25 - Russell County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Creelsboro, with all its history was in the spotlight for the annual festival Saturday, September 24, 2022. These buildings are just memories, having been torn down not long after this photo was made over 20+ years ago. The Creelsboro, Kentucky landing was a hub of commerce from the 1870s to the early 1900s in the height of the steamboat era and for a time it was Russell County's largest town with its prime location on the Cumberland River below Lake Cumberland and Wolf Creek Dam.

Bandit, the official Trifecta Print guard dog, served perfectly all his long life, and is missed by all.
