Peyton Starns celebrated her first birthday week continuing to practice steps and gain strength. She made her first walk down the aisle at Columbia United Methodist Church last Sunday and celebrated her accomplishment with family and admirers looking on.

LWC Christian ministries graduate Rev. Matthew Abel '17 provides the keynote address on Friday, Oct. 28, at Lindsey Wilson College's Trustee Appreciation & Endowed Scholarship Recognition Luncheon. Abel, an Elizabethtown, Kentucky, native currently serves as Associate Pastor and Youth Minister at Florence United Methodist Church in Florence, Kentucky. Looking on is LWC trustee Jim Fugitte who served as emcee for the event.

LWC Safe Halloween: Worth the drive

Elsa Diaz, Ian Morales, Tony Morales and Stephanie Morales from Liberty, Kentucky, made the 30-minute drive to Columbia to take part in LWC's "Safe Halloween." The foursome said the safe event was worth the extra drive time for their youngest member.

More than 400 bags of candy were distributed to children during the College's annual event.
