Shout out to the election officials after longest day

Give a shout out to these election officials when you see them, they put in many, many hours to make sure things go smoothly on this big day in Adair County. From left are: Sheila, Haylee, Kalina, Vicky, Lisa, Jennifer, Nadalie, Ricky, Tracy and Shauna.

They started around 5amCT and kept going until every vote was tallied and every piece of equipment secured, hoping to get home around 10pm. It was reported to be a good day with heavy turnout. There was only one mishap in the Breeding precinct when a power outage stopped things but it was handled quickly.

Veronica writes, "Featured in beautiful nature sits the Chapel at The Cove, Billy Graham training facility. The chapel is very simply decorated with clear windows for those to appreciate God's beautiful creations. Ruth Graham was the brains behind most of the design and decorating of The Chapel. The center is located outside of Asheville, NC a short ways."
