However, this one is the most famous. It's in the vicinity of the 'Window's Arches'. It is a very easy trail from the parking area. From where I'm standing on the trail to take this pic, a lot of folks will usually align themselves up with the rock and arms in the air, while someone takes a pic of them...creating the illusion of them lifting and holding the rock up. Photography in Utah can be brutal since most of the time it's blue skies and harsh sunlight conditions. But I was aware of a trail behind this Arch and used it to block out the sun. The Department of Juvenile Justice Adair Youth Development Center (AYDC) is located at 401 Appleby Drive behind the Columbia Church of the Nazarene beside the Cumberland Parkway. As the signs indicate, the Green River Animal Shelter road veers off to the right of the AYDC on Jim Blair Road. Columbia is home to two detention facilities, this site of the Friday night riot is one of them, and the other, Adair County Regional Jail, is located just off the Square at 204 Greensburg Street.
