Public Safety Dispatch Academy Class 146

21 dispatchers from across the state of Kentucky have graduated from the Public Safety Dispatch Academy, and are now ready to begin answering the call to provide assistance and assurance to both citizens and law enforcement officers of the commonwealth. Among the graduates was Mason Grant Loy, with Adair County E-911.

Book tells the story of Trabue Russell House builder

The book "The Other Dan" is a history of the builder of the Trabue Russell House, Daniel Trabue. The book was written by historian Vonnie Kolbenschlag and is available at the Adair Genealogy and History Center beside the Adair County Library on Greensburg Street. For tours of the historic property contact the City of Columbia at 270-384-2501.

At the Vendor's Fair

Elizabeth Ballou is pictured with her Matilda Jane clothing booth at the Vendor's Fair November 12th. The event was held at Trinity United Methodist Church and proceeds go to support the ACHS Band.
