The American Lady corset was available in 1912 according to the postage stamp on the back of this postcard from Jimmy Tupman who shared some of his keepsake photographs. PT Devon Bell speaks at November Chamber luncheon

Devon Bell, Physical Therapy director at TJ Health Columbia, was the speaker at the November Chamber of Commerce meeting. He shared information about the growing physical therapy department and their services which include physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. The department also offers dry needling, a minimally invasive procedure to treat trigger points that develop in muscle tissue that has been injured or overused. For more information about the services offered contact TJ health Columbia rehab services at 270-384-4713 to speak with one of the physical therapists.

Green Dot Training at LWC

Lindsey Wilson College freshmen Janessa Girdley and Kiasia Thompson from Bardstown, Kentucky, participate in Green Dot bystander intervention training in the Katie Murrell Library Clark Reading Room. Green Dot training teaches volunteers how to recognize the warning signs of personal violence and provides the tools to intervene in dangerous situations. Nearly 20 LWC students took part in the 90-minute training session before Thanksgiving break.
