Every parking spot filled along parade route

The 31st annual Columbia Adair Chamber of Commerce parade is pictured heading down Jamestown Street to the Square from the old Industrial Park - never soon enough for all the kids waiting for candy to be tossed. The line begins moving at 6pm and is joined along the way from other lots along the route. Anticipation was high among parade watchers around the historic Courthouse.

New tugboat launches for Turkey Neck Bend Ferry

This new tugboat at Turkey Neck Bend on the Cumberland River was launched into service on November 30.

The Turkey Neck Bend Ferry is the only State-owned and operated ferry. The operation runs 24 hours a day at no extra cost to motorists. The ferry service connects two sections of KY 214 at the Cumberland River and leads to the scenic section of Turkey Neck Bend in southeastern Monroe County.

This late 60s Cheverolet was part of the Campbellsville Christmas Parade of Classic Cars on Saturday evening. A record crowd came down to Main Street to help kick off Campbellsville's Christmas festivities.
