Mona Lisa plant
2022-12-12 - Adair Co., KY - Photo by Veronica Arnold. Veronica writes, "Looking for a nice indoor plant as a nice gift for others or yourself this season? Let me recommend the Aeschynanthus obconicus 'Mona Lisa' basket vine. I call it the Lipstick plant, and it is an easy-to-care-for indoor flowering plant. It has those shiny waxy leaves which helps it retain water; so it won't need watering every day. They grow nicely inside in a sunny spot, and can grow quite long! A plant to keep your inside cheery and bright even in the dark winter.
The one pictured will be blooming those beautiful fuchsia/red flowers soon! Warm wishes this Christmas season --The Arnolds of Fairplay"
