Two more nights of Christmas in the Park

The third annual Christmas in the Park drive-through light show started on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at the Joe Johnson Little League Park in Columbia. The event is free and open to the public tonight and tomorrow night, 5pmCT until 8pmCT, through Wednesday, December 28, 2022. The freezing weather has been hard on the displays but didn't cancel it.

Christmas morning service

Christmas morning services were held Sunday at Columbia UMC after the traditional Christmas Eve service had to be cancelled due to the dangerous weather. In the picture Pastor Ben Martin leads the service, which included communion, and Doug Beard is behind him at the organ.

High five for a treat

A high five with Bill Vittetoe gets Maggie a treat at Breath of Grace Wellness. They were pictured at the Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting and open house last week where Breath of Grace counseling is expanding into an additional location at 414 Public Square.
