Looking for names

2023-01-10 - Metcalfe County, KY - Photo from family collection.
Readers from Metcalfe and Barren Counties may know and we hope they will share the names of the couple at left in this photo from the mid-1940s. On the right are Earl Reid and Geniece Leftwich Marcum. We think maybe the couple at left can be their friends Ephraim and Elsie Berry, but can't be sure. If anyone has information, please click 'comment' below and let us know. (This was a black and white photo colorized with modern photo editing which explains the odd brown and blue mixtures on the pants legs).

2023-01-09 - Russell County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Most deer I've seen by the side of the road this season have been those that have lost their lives in battles with vehicles. Thankfully all three of us were going slowly enough on this day to remain safe. - LW
