Bellview one room school, Metcalfe County, KY would have been heated on a January day like this by a big pot belly stove right in the middle of it. This picture would have been taken around 1948 or 1949. The teacher would have been Isabelle Sandidge, mom to two of the students, Donald and Welby who provided the names he could remember.
