"Garbage was scattered all over Hwy 61 South around 1pmCT Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Names and addresses were gathered from the garbage and proper authorities will be contacting the owners to see if they lost several bags of trash off the truck on their way to the transfer station - or if those named had trash their trash picked up by someone who lost it. This problem of littering our roads without accountability has to stop. The solid waste board, of which I am a member, will be working with county officials to try to address this problem.
