Students on panel at strategic leadership meeting

Seventeen students from three of the four Adair public schools made up a panel at the strategic leadership meeting for research and goal setting. From ACES were: Leo Garsee, Mason Rose, Jordan Staten, Brisa Perez. From ACMS: Summer Rowe, Lucas Davis, Addie Baker, Jasper Kemp, and Emma Dorman. From ACHS: Jonathan Gold, Trey Stephens, Rachel Brown, Millie Brown, Jazzy Kemp, Emylou Miller, Keaton Burton, Beth Cowan. (Students are not listed in order and some came in to join the panel after the photo was made.)

That quilt made by Minnie Corbin looks like a variation of the six pointed star pattern. I'm familiar with 6 pointed stars but a not familiar with the hexagon in the center. The hexagons are a variation, I would assume.

Recently retired Adair County teacher, Ms. Melton, was little Leslie Tupman in 1968 when she shared her Halloween afternoon, her cat and their pumpkin with photographer Linda Marcum.

Ford dealership expanding to 18-acre site
 2023-02-06 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Don Franklin Fiord (top photo) will be working to move onto the 18 acres at the convergence of Hudson Street and the Veterans Memorial Bypass shown in the lower photo. The location will be annexed into the City and after a gas line is moved, will become home to a new 30,000 square foot building.
