Columbian Theater nearing a March 2023 opening
 2023-02-14 - Columbia, KY . Doug Beard shared this photograph to describe progress on the renovation of the Columbian Theatre during the monthly meeting of the Adair County Arts Council. Beard said it is possible the theatre could be open in March. The venue will feature an expanded stage, new sound system, epoxy-coated floor, and steam-cleaned seats. Beard noted that care was taken to preserve the traditional features of the theatre whenever possible. The facility will seat between 250 to 270.
