Miss Vicky writes, "Looking to the west of New Columbia Greater Bliss, dark clouds are giving way to sunshine. However, the gusty winds are giving my little Honda quite a shaking. No damage was seen between the Veterans bypass and the Flatwoods area."

Skies were dark and rain was getting heavy around 1pmCT. Rain and clouds would be driven away shortly as heavy winds took over until bedtime.

Birds: Tricolored Heron

All About Birds says about the tricolored heron, "This fairly small heron wades through coastal waters in search of small fish... Angsty teenagers aren't just a human phenomenon. As Tricolored Herons get older they often lunge and snap at their parents when they arrive at the nest with food. To appease the youngsters, parents greet them with bows."
