Wave at Student Art Show

This water color didn't have a name beside it so the imagination is free to zoom in, see the wave over a lemon slice, ice cube, little umbrella, and create the story. It is among the many art examples in the Student Art Show open again this coming weekend from 1-3pmCT at the Trabue Russell House. The work is by Sophia Caceres, 11th grader at ACHS.

Artists Arabella and Aarow with family at student art show

Little artists Arabella and her older brother Aarow both have artwork on display in the Student Art Show that opened last weekend at the historic Trabue-Russell House in Columbia. Lucca, riding on dad's shoulders, will have works in future shows, no doubt. They are the home school students of Orissa and Nick Woodward of the Fairplay community.

Desiree's art is part of weaving display

Pictured together among all the student works of art are, from left: young Derick, Stormy, Desiree the artist, and Dad Derick. The exhibit is open again this weekend.

On display at the Student Art Show at the Trabue Russell House is this toilet paper food sculpture display created by Brynlee Funkhouser, seventh grade student at Adair County Middle School. She served up a burger with a side of fries and dessert. People had to take a second look to make sure it was fake!
