A recycling effort underway 2023-04-03 - Downtown Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. My washing machine may not recognize its detergent today. In an effort to reduce the amount of plastic used,  I’m trying laundry sheets. They replace the bottles of liquid with a liquid-less sheet that washes itself away as it cleans the laundry. Hopefully, it works as promised, and I will happily do without big plastic jugs of laundry detergent from now on.
